INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOTHERAPY and EMDR

I am a clinical psychologist, psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapist with training in the cognitive imprinting technique, EMDR.

After a Master's degree in Psychological Sciences (5 years) at the University of Padua (Italy) obtained in 2003, I continued my studies with a refresher course in Emergency in Clinical Psychology and Psychiatry at the Catholic University of Rome. Then I obtained my diploma as a psychotherapist at the Freudian Institute of Rome (4-year cycle).

My professional experience is structured through clinical work in the field of mental health for approximately twenty years in different intervention settings: outpatient, hospital and institutional (mental health center, therapeutic communities, hospital, outpatient care centers, schools).

Since 2016, I have focused on private practice in Brussels, working in French and Italian. I provide individual sessions to young people and adults regarding difficulties and suffering related to their private, academic, and professional lives.

My usual areas of intervention are:

• Eating disorders

• Anxiety and mood disorders

• Personality disorders

• Trauma-related disorders, phobias

• Bereavement and palliative care
